JUSTICE MARTHA KOOME WILL BE SWORN IN ON 21ST MAY 2021

The new Hon. Chief Justice Martha Koome will be sworn on Friday 21st May 2021. This comes days after she was vetted by parliament and gazetted. 

She comes at a time when the judiciary and executive arm of the government are not in a good relationship since the nullification of the 2017 presidential elections and the recent constitution of Kenya amendment bill 2020 popularly known as BBI 

She promised to bring a good and relationship between the two arms of government once she becomes the chief justice. wishing the incoming CJ good luck in her endeavors.
